Une carte interactive pour accéder en temps réel à la météo des ports

OBJECTIFS ET USAGES

Depuis 2017, la Métropole Toulon Provence Méditerranée est propriétaire et responsable de l’aménagement, de l’entretien et de la gestion des ports du département du Var. Portes d’entrées sur son territoire, ces ports représentent un poids économique et touristique significatif sur le plan du développement régional, national et international.

Dans une dynamique d’information du grand public et de sûreté portuaire, la Métropole Toulon Provence Méditerranée a mis en ligne une carte interactive permettant aux plaisanciers, aux navires de croisières et de frets d’accéder en temps réel aux conditions météorologiques pour chaque port du département.

Cette météo des ports en temps réel permet d’obtenir des informations indispensables à toutes sorties en mer comme la direction du vent, la vitesse moyenne des rafales, la température de l’air, la couverture nuageuse et l’évolution de la pression atmosphérique.
